Sun is shining, weather is sweet...

Just happened to be feeling the need for some reggae poetry this morning and it occurred to me... What would life be like without music? I have long suspected that human achievements of positive import can be limited to 3 main categories: music, fireworks and well, you know, procreation. Now that I am being exposed to a barrage of genres and performances in no particular order, I am convinced that music is what has transformed our species' ability to communicate. So perhaps my concern for the evolution of speech is unwarranted, as long as there's a song to sing, someone will listen and learn.
